ECLIPSE BOAT FUNERAL PRICING
The following prices are for events aboard Eclipse, 90' Multi Level Power Catamaran. This boat was formally known as Olympic Storm. This is the recommended vessel as the skipper and crew have experience in boat funerals. If your guest list is large, it is possible to create a custom package for you onboard the Starship vessels below. Please call us for more information.

What assistance will I get to guide me through the beautiful farewell service?
You will not be expect to pre know anything about funeral procedures. You willl be guided to what needs to be done to make everything legal and will given choices to make the ceremony special for the loved ones left behind.
Your funeral directors, Scott and Diane Luccitti have many years of experience in creating funeral services that are not only respectful to the departed but are healing for the loved ones.
What is included in a successful funeral service?
The most positive and healing way is to create an event that honours the life and unites family and friends. The memorial will tell the story of a lifetime, reflect on the families values and traditions, provide a time for gathering and sharing of food. Where guests are active participants most purposeful healing is obtained.
What is a typical itinerary for a Boat Memorial Service?
10.30 am Guests embark at wharf
10.45 am Depart Wharf , coffee/ tea buscuits/ cheese platters served
11.15am Vessel at anchor in Farm Cove for ceremony with backdrop of Sydney Opera House
12.30 pm Ceremony concludes, guests mingle, bar opens
12.45 pm Lunch is served buffet style
2.30 pm Guests disembark at the wharf. At the wharf they release balloons to say farewell
In what ways can I customise the memorial service?
The elements of words, symbols, activites , activities and food can be customised. The coffin can be customised with an image if you wish. There will be many choices to be made, but your Elite funeral director will be your guide.
Examples of funeral ceremony ideas include:
-An artistic group painting the coffin white and making the coffin into a work of art
- People sit in a circle telling stories of their friend who had passed.
- Live music
- Creating a memory board where everyone is asked to bring something to pin on the board
- Give away books from the loved one
- Hand out seed cards for everyone to plant in honor of the bereaved (trees, forget me knots?)
- Hand out flowers from the coffin at the end of the service
Is this a private cruise?
Yes. Other than the captain and the crew, the funeral is completely private.
How many people can I have on board?
Boats have strict capacity as they are registed charter vessels. Your Sydney Harbour Escapes event organiser will guide you to your allowed guest numbers as guest numbers will be smaller than for a regualr charter to allow set up of seating.
I am on a strict budget, can I be sure that the funeral price will cover everything that I need to order?
